March 19, 2017 Leo Kioroglo Pretty churches. Mega Churches. Happy Smiles. Lovely Clothes. A lot of “God be with you”s and “God bless you”s. Loud prayers. Memorized Bibles Verses. All those things seem to be signs of great Faith in a person, but that is not exactly the case. Typically, the only way Faith is measured is by the results, such as something happening around the person or to the person. In the long run, true Faith is wanting to know Christ. Life is long, and your Faith will be tested. There are a couple things Faith in Christ did in Apostle Paul’s life. 1. It gave Paul his purpose in life. (Philippians 3:8) 2. Faith helped Paul go through hardships and tribulations. (2 Timothy 1:12) 3. Faith in Christ gave Paul hope in his future. (Romans 8:38-39) 4. Through it, Paul was able to receive help and comfort directly from Christ.(2 Corinthians 1:3-5) 5. Faith in Christ made Paul a missionary. (Romans 15:17-21) (Acts 26:19-20) Faith in Christ is all-powerful. Most of the time that Faith doesn’t come through during your best times, but during your worst. So when the going gets tough, have Faith and be sure that results will come.
